Privacy Policy

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and username.

Content you create: Phrases, categories, pins, and other content you add to Pinax are stored securely in your account.

Profile picture: If you upload an avatar, it is stored securely and only visible to you.

Usage data: We collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Pinax app.
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• Sync your quotes across your devices.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Send you important account-related emails (e.g., password reset).

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We apply Row Level Security (RLS) policies so that each user can only access their own data.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use the following third-party services to operate Pinax:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — optional OAuth authentication. We only receive a name and email address.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Pinax is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
